Something interesting to say!

Right all, just thinking of something interesting to write. To be honest we are in a kinda limbo period at the moment. We are off to LA in a couple of weeks to meet with AEG management (one of the biggest management companies in the world!!) and another independent manager (represents one of the hottest bands in the world at the moment) to discuss them representing us (and world domination!). Because of this we have put our next years schedule on hold until further notice. We need to offer these companies a clear year so they can schedule us where they want. We are expecting to be spending very little time in this country so we needed to not take many private bookings here in case.
January is looking very pivotal in our musical journey so all fingers crossed.
If things go to plan we will be recreated for 2009. it is going to be very interesting to see the direction they take us.
Well i guess this is it for this Christmas so we wish you all a very merry one and there will be more idle ramblings to come in the new year wherever we are!!

Today we did our last day in the studio (hopefully). We also had the first listen to our previous sessions in their entirety. Big sighs of relief all round because they sound great (even if I do say so myself). thanks to Ben and Zach the producers. we were striving to recreate the energy and creativeness that we produce in our live performances (this is where we are most comfortable). its always hard to do this in this environment because there always is a case of watching your P's and Q's musically (hopefully this saying is understood outside our country). Anyways, we have put a few of the pics from the sessions up here so you all can have a vision of us doing the recordings.

Some things we do!

Hey All, Over the last week we have been doing some gigs and generally feeling cold! We are still pining to get back to California (not long to go now). i for one have to say that i am a warm climate person that needs that yellow thing in the sky that is often spotted in this country some days in June. We have so many commitments here with private gigs and obviously our pending CD that we cant just hop back on a plane. We are always reminded of the things that we are missing out on by our close friends in California. Last night our friend/Agent hung out with Oasis and Russel Brand and we were getting constant updates on how much we should of been there. At the time we were performing at a private event in the Cotswold's (which was a really nice gig in fairness pic on the right) so i suppose we didn't really have a chance to be there.
We still haven't had time to get back to the studio but we have scheduled some time on Wednesday so i will let you all know then.
Ben is now into his last 6 months of training so he is living off nuts and berries and has upped the workouts to 4 hours a day!!!! Ive officially gone into hibernation in a large cardboard box filled with newspaper and a small tortoise called Jeffrey.

2 Days in the studio

We just had two good days in the studio recording our latest Cd. For those who haven't been in a studio before, it really is an intense atmosphere but its most enjoyable. However, because the recordings go straight off to post production this means that you work for 2 days then have a waiting game before you get a chance to hear how things went (kinda like doing an exam and waiting to find out if you passed!).
Everything seemed good on the days but fingers crossed from here.
We are hoping to get some pics up sometime this week so watch this space.
Special thanks to our record label for looking after us so well and thanks to our producer Ben (and assistant Zach) on the day. These guys had to put up with our constant need to put each other off throughout the sessions. I certainly had a nasty fit of corpsing going at one stage which was hilarious for Ben and I but surly quite frustrating for all the team in the control room patiently saying "Yes, Very good....Again". I'm hoping that you can hear our smiles on the recording. :-)
